VMS Builders Club and Student Council members participate in UAlbany Day


UAlbanyDay(Feb. 15, 2012) Students in Voorheesville Middle School's Builders Club and Student Council participated in UAlbany Day on February 6 at Empire State Plaza.

During the day-long event, the students learned what the university has to offer, including its clubs. Some of the highlights of the day included live student performances, faculty and researcher demonstrations, hands-on experience with nanotechnology and an opportunity to meet players from the basketball team.

Students also visited the Capital building and were given an extensive tour by Voorheesville alum Stuart Lehman (shown in last photo below).
