Students selected to perform in Area All State Music Festival


(Oct. 20, 2011) The Voorheesville Central School District's Music Department is proud to announce three Clayton A. Bouton High School students have been selected to perform in the 2011 Area All State Music Festival, Nov. 18-19 at Saratoga High School.

Selected were sophomore Rebecca Barron to play French Horn in the Concert Band, senior David Vandervort to play guitar in the Jazz Ensemble and senior Adam Bailey to sing in the Choir.

Students will be rehearsing on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. The concert begins at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for seniors and students and will be on sale beginning one hour before the concert.
