Important notice for parents of incoming kindergartners 

Jan. 19, 2010—Parents/guardians of children who are eligible to attend kindergarten in September 2010 are being asked to contact Deann DellaPenta at Voorheesville Elementary School at 765-2382, ext. 514, or ddella@vcsdk12.org.

The district no longer has a census to contact incoming kindergartners, and is relying on parents to communicate this information to the district.

Children must be five years old on or before December 1, 2010, to register for the 2010-11 school year.

There will be an information meeting for parents-only on Thursday, March 18, at 7:00 p.m. During this time, the kindergarten registration and screening process will be explained, and parents/guardians will be able to schedule their child’s screening for Tuesday, April 27, or Wednesday, April 28.
