Dollars for Scholars and the Helderbarker to host special event on April 3

March 12, 2009 - Enjoy a fun evening featuring chocolates, desserts, raffles, live music and much more on Friday, April 3, while supporting Voorheesville students. 

Please join Voorheesville's Chapter of Dollars for Scholars and the school newspaper, The Helderbarker, for this special event at St. Matthew's Church Social Hall (25 Mountainview Street, Voorheesville) from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door, and include a dessert buffet and beverages.

Proceeds from the event will help provide scholarships to college-bound seniors. Last year, events such as this enabled Dollars for Scholars to award 16 graduates with nearly $10,000 in scholarships.
