Community members encouraged to attend March 19 PTA meeting

School officials to discuss 2009-10 budget

March 5, 2009 - On Thursday, March 19, the Voorheesville PTA will conduct its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the elementary school, followed by a special presentation by Interim Superintendent Raymond Colucciello and Assistant Superintendent for Business Sarita Winchell. All are welcome to attend.

The pair will provide an update on the district’s continuing efforts to develop the 2009-10 budget. Due to large cuts in state aid for next year, the preliminary budget includes the elimination of up to eight teaching positions. To learn more about the budget development process, click here.
