Nominations sought for the “Extra Mile Award”

April 9, 2009 - Each year the Voorheesville Central School District holds a volunteer reception towards the end of the school year to honor parents, students and community members who have contributed their time and talents to the school district.

For those who have gone above and beyond in their volunteer work, “Extra Mile Award” plaques are awarded. To submit a nomination, please complete a nomination form and return it to the district office by Monday, May 11.

This year’s ceremony will be held on Monday, June 8, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., prior to the Board of Education meeting.
