Three candidates vie for two open seats on the board

Public invited to meet the candidates on May 14

May 14, 2009—During the Annual School Budget Vote on May 19, voters will also select from among three candidates—newcomer Justin C. Brusgal and incumbents Cheryl Dozier and C. James Coffin—to fill two seats on the Voorheesville Board of Education.

To learn more about the candidates, residents are encouraged to attend the Candidates Forum, which is organized by the Voorheesville PTA, on Tuesday, May 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

The elected board members will serve four-year terms, beginning July 1, 2009. All positions are unpaid.
