The Voorheesville Central School District
received the highest rating possible from auditors who reviewed the
district’s financial statements for the 2006-07 fiscal year.
The Albany-based certified public accounting firm Dorfman-Robbie
conducted the audit and issued an unqualified opinion, the highest
rating possible. Auditors had this to say about the district’s financial
records:
“In our opinion, the financial statements referred
to above present fairly, in all material respects, the respective
financial position of the governmental activities, each major fund, and
the aggregate remaining fund information of Voorheesville Central School
District as of June 30, 2007, and the respective changes in financial
position and cash flows, where applicable, thereof, for the year ended
in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the
United States of America.”
