Book fair nets library $1,500 in free books

The Middle School Book Fair was a great success!

It was held in the school library on November 1, 2 and 5. Students, parents, and teachers enjoyed purchasing a great selection of books from Scholastic Book Fairs. Using the profit option that entitles the library to select books worth 50% of total sales, the library received more than $1,500 in paperback and hardcover books.

Adding to the fun, a contest was held to see which Middle School English class bought the most books. Miss Zeh's first period English 6 class won first prize, a pizza party for the whole class. Miss Zeh's eighth and ninth period classes tied for the second prize, candy for each student.
