French students visit the Senate
Earlier this year, a group of students from
Mabillon High School in Sedan, France, visited Voorheesville. From
Oct. 13-24, the students lived with local families while attending
classes at Clayton A. Bouton High School.
During their time here, students visited Albany,
the New York State Museum, Thatcher Park, the Norman Rockwell
Museum, New York City and the winter Olympics training facility in
Lake Placid, among other places.
Here,
students are pictured with New York State Senator Neil Breslin in
the Senate chambers.
Next year, in continuing with the tradition, students from
Voorheesville will travel to France.
