Poetry Out Loud contest winner announced

Congratulations to Garrett Simpson for his spirited victory in the Poetry Out Loud competition held on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007. Garrett gave a spirited rendition of Percy Shelley's "Ozymandias" and Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky." Garrett moves on to compete in the New York State Poetry Out Loud Competition held on March 8, at 7 p.m., at the New York State Museum in Albany.

Runners up included Meara Mctague and Allie Funk. Again, congratulations to all who participated!
