Changes to meal charging policy become
effective Feb. 9
(Jan. 27, 2010) Effective Tuesday, Feb.
9, the Voorheesville Central School District will be implementing a few
changes in its charging policy for students' meal accounts.

All district schools have student cafeterias. Breakfast and hot lunch
are provided for all students at nominal cost. Milk and other beverages
are available for students who bring lunches prepared at home.

Food substitutions
Breakfast: Bagel and cream cheese and muffins are
available every day.
Lunch: Deli sandwiches (roast beef, ham or turkey)
soup of the day and salads (chef, Caesar, tossed and fruit) are
available everyday.
Free & reduced priced meals
Voorheesville participates in
the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program, which includes
provisions for free or reduced price meals for eligible students. An
approved application form for the current year must be on file at your
child's school for this purpose.
