Voorheesville students give back during the holiday
season
Voorheesville students are helping make the holidays a
little brighter for others. As part of the
year-long theme of gratitude, Elementary
students sold Adopt an Angels to raise nearly $350 for
the Make-A-Wish
Foundation. Members of the middle school's Builders Club
and high school's Key Club sold "Bells for Life" at Crossgates Mall to help the Kiwanis Club raise
$575 for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of The
Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center. The Builders Club also sold
$150 in "Bells" in school, as shown in this
photo.
At the high school, the Key Club coordinated a book and toy collection to help
five local families adopted by the Kiwanis this year,
while the National Honor Society collected toys for the
Albany County Sheriff's Hilltown Christmas program. Congratulations all!
