Input sought for new superintendent, forums set for Sept.

The search for a new superintendent for the Voorheesville Central School District is underway, and we want to hear from you!  

Teachers, support staff, administrators and bus drivers are encouraged to attend a series of upcoming meetings to ask questions about the search process, provide feedback and help develop a list of qualities sought for the new superintendent.

Capital Region BOCES District Superintendent Charles Dedrick and Director of Career & Technical Education Hank Stopinski will be hosting the upcoming meetings. In addition, a member of the district's Board of Education will open and close each of the sessions.

Thursday, Sept. 18
2:45- 4:15 p.m. Middle/High School Staff, High School Library

4:30-6 p.m. United Employees of Voorheesville, High School Library

Tuesday, Sept. 23
3:30- 5 p.m. Middle/Elementary School Staff, Elementary School Library  

5-6 p.m. Voorheesville Administrators Association,
ES Conference Room

Additional meetings will also be held with community members and board members in September and early October.
