September 1—Dr. Raymond Colucciello.
A former interim principal of Voorheesville
High School, Colucciello was appointed as the school district’s interim
superintendent for the 2008-2009 school year upon Linda Langevin’s
retirement at the end of August. She served the district for three
years.

Committee comprised of parents and school representatives forms to
develop food allergy plan
Food allergies can cause a myriad of symptoms, such as hives, difficulty
breathing, heart failure or even a life-threatening reaction known as
anaphylaxis.
As the number of students identified with food allergies grows, so too
does the need for a district-wide food allergy plan to ensure that all
students are protected and remain safe.

Middle/high school
meal prices to rise
The price of breakfast and lunch at
Voorheesville Middle School and Clayton A. Bouton High School will
increase by 25 to 40 cents this fall to keep pace with rising fuel
and food costs. Elementary school meal prices will remain the same.
