Our Mission

The mission of the Voorheesville Elementary School Counseling program is to provide an environment that nurtures and values each individual, and that educates and supports all students with regard to personal social, emotional, and academic endeavors. Consistent opportunities for interpersonal skill development, self -exploration, and career awareness will be provided throughout the elementary years. As a result, we believe students will have the capability to become lifelong learners and productive citizens in our community and throughout the world.
