Parent information meeting for 2012-13 kindergarten set for March 15

(Feb. 2, 2012) Parents in the Voorheesville Central School District who have a child who will be five-years-old by December 1, 2012 are eligible to enroll in the district's 2012-13 kindergarten program. Voorheesville will transition to a full-day program in the fall. There will be an information meeting on March 15 at 7 p.m. for parents only. Kindergarten registration and screening process will be explained. For more information, please contact Mrs. Michelle Moss at Voorheesville Elementary School at 765-2382 ext. 504.

Voorheesville Elementary's got talent...and gratitude!

Talent Show(Jan. 26, 2012) Last Friday evening, Jan. 20, Voorheesville Elementary students showed they've got talent and gratitude! More than 50 acts, representing 100 students, entertained the crowd in the Lydia C. Tobler Performing Arts Center with dance, song, jokes and more! The event, which was the culminating fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, raised more than $1,700 for the organization. » LEARN MORE

Elementary school raises money for Make-A-Wish

(December 22, 2011) As part of the year-long theme of gratitude, Voorheesville Elementary School raised nearly $350 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by selling Adopt an Angels. The check was presented to a foundation representative at a Spirit Committee charged assembly on Dec. 16. Nice job!
